Altas Empires, Cerberus Interactive's AR strategy, is now available for iOS and Android in select regions as the game begins to roll out to various territories in soft-launch. This week, folks who live in New Zealand, Australia and Canada will be able to begin playing the game.

If you're unfamiliar with Atlas Empires, it's a location-based strategy game that looks to blend base-building and tower defence with augmented reality. Players will be able to claim a plot of land as their own and begin to a base of their own.

This base can be further fortified by hunting for chests that might contain valuable resources such as gold, wood or stone. Beyond that, there are various units players can recruit to battle against other players. You'll also be able to create Outposts to collect resources that bases neighbouring your own will also benefit from.

Cerberus Interactive were keen to have potential players involved in development from an early stage. As such, there have been various closed beta tests involving fans where the feedback they provided has apparently been influential in the direction the game has taken.

Discussing fan involvement with the development of Atlas Empires, Sami Khan, CEO and co-founder of Cerberus Interactive said: "We are incredibly grateful to our initial wave of fans for their ongoing support and dedication to Atlas Empires.”

Jousting has always been quite a medieval thing, so why not add cars to the mix? Enter: Carmageddon: Crashers.

You'd think Carmageddon: Crashers is your typical drag racing game but there's a bit of a twist. Instead of speeding alongside your opponent, you're driving directly at them, and one of you is going to get destroyed. Better make sure it isn't you.

The aim of the game is to get to the top of the Crashers league and take out all of the vehicles that stand in your way. As you'd expect, you can buy new cars and upgrade them, and have your very own Carmageddon armada.

Though we don't know when the exact launch date will be, you can find the game soft launched and free to play on iOS in the Philippines, or on Android in select areas.
Zombie Killer : The Dead Mod Zombie Killer : The Dead v1.0.1 mod Features:Modify a large number of currencies. In order to survive in the fierce ultimate war, people have to fight with zombies!Choose your favorite zombie shotgun from a large pile of weapons to complete your dream of killing zombies!A custom action game for zombie enthusiasts!Download the game quickly!

"Simply slide your iPad Mini or iPhone 6+ into the AirVR and you’re set. The ergonomic foam pads and adjustable ballistic nylon straps ensure a snug and comfortable fit."

While headsets such as this aren't up to the scope of dedicated hardware like the Oculus Rift, there's definitely something to be said for their affordability, wirelessness (if there is such a word) and the default inclusion of a camera pass-through.

Metatecture isn't just 3D printing an iPad head mount, however.

The iPad mini version will bring unused screen real estate into use via a 'touch strip,' which adds buttons to AirVR-enabled games and apps to make control and adjustment easier for the user.

It's also put together an open-source SDK that works with Unity, making it quicker and simpler for developers to adapt existing games into virtual reality titles, and create brand new ones from scratch.

If the AirVR Kickstarter campaign is successful - and given that it's brought in around a fifth of its goal within 24 hours, it seems likely - the headset is expected to go on sale at the beginning of 2015.

Check it out.

Complete jobs and get points"I suppose his accident must have intervened. Gilbert says it is quite likely that George Moore remembers nothing of his accident, or what led to it, and may never remember it. It probably happened very soon after Dick's death. We may find out more particulars when Leslie writes again."Try before you trust.
"That's the worst of it," sighed Diana. "It's so annoying to hear the receivers going down whenever you ring anyone up. They say Mrs. Harmon Andrews insisted that their `phone should be put in their kitchen just so that she could listen whenever it rang and keep an eye on the dinner at the same time. Today, when you called me, I distinctly heard that queer clock of the Pyes' striking. So no doubt Josie or Gertie was listening."
